Inframon - Website

We brought this Microsoft Certified I.T. company into 2008 with a shiny new image and web site. Their online presence is now as professional as their I.T. services.

The Requirement
Inframon had a wide range of clients from SME's to large blue chip organisations. With this in mind they wanted a web site that would not only look credible to their blue chip clients but would also not scare off smaller companies.

They wanted a corporate identity adjustment that would keep up to date with their current market place, without totally loosing the identity their clients have grown accustomed too.

They asked for a clean, crisp and easy to navigate interface which would take minimal fuss to get to the

The Solution
We delivered a website that met all the requirements, met with a short turn around as they needed the new site live ASAP.

We went for a very crisp design with lots of white space. We had a photoshoot arranged for the directors of the company as we didn't want to use stock images on the site. The use of smooth and properly arranged typeography added to the overall design while at the same pointing out key services and features.

Buy My Bathroom

Buy My Bathroom wanted an ecommerce website with the added benefit of an online bathroom builder... So we delivered just that.

The Requirement
There are many bathroom specialists out there that will make a visit to your home, survey the bathroom, price up the costs and try and sign you up there an then for a new suite. Buy My Bathroom didn't want to work this way. Not only did they want a complete online store, they also wanted customers to be able to enter into the system the dimentions of their bathroom and positioning of the windows, doors etc, then choose the products they required.

Buy My Bathroom could then receive the information, draw up a complete plan and send back a cost. Once the plan and costs are confirmed by the client the complete bathroom would be delivered to their door. Quick, easy, and no hard sale!

The Solution
After initial design breifing and careful planning we came to the conclusion that the overall theme of the site had to be clean and easy to use. Animated elements were included to add a sparkle to the site. It was fully content managed, giving our client the ability to update products as easy as using a word processing package.

The bathroom and furniture builders offered the site visitor the opportunity to custom build their bathroom, by selecting room dimentions and products. It also allowed them to sketch out plans using a Flash based sketch pad. The drawing was then automatically saved as an image and included in the final submission of the form based builder.

Plexus Icon Design

The original range of icons were from off the shelf packages and not totally relevant to the icons purpose. Plexus came to us for the solution.

The Requirement
The Plexus software was very specialised, an off the shelf package of icons would not have worked for for them.

They needed very specific iconography to visually illustrate certain actions within the Plexus software and enable the user to make easy application of all of its features. The icons also needed to look up to date with modern styles such as OS X and Vista now becoming the user interface of preference. Timescales were also key as the new version of the software and its branding was coming up, which meant that the deadline for the icons had to be met.

The Solution
We sat down with the guys at Plexus, and over a nice cup of fresh Columbian coffee went though every required icon, the task it would perform and the priority of its positioning within the software interface.

We then provided pencil sketched versions of each icon for approval. Once the concepts were approved we re-created all of the icons in 3D and supplied the final versions in three different sized formats.

Shed Restaurants

Shed Restaurants are located in both Bristol and Exeter. They needed a website that was clean, professional and stylish. We gave them exactly that.

The Requirement
Shed Restaurants own the Severnshed in Bristol and the Exeshed in Exeter. They were looking to combine both restaurants into one website to provide a range of information from opening times to online menus.

The functionality to enable them to update information on the fly, including menus, special events and photographs was a fundamental requirement. They also wanted an email mailshot facility to keep in touch with exisiting customers by offering promotions and function details. This was ideal because in one click they could reach the 1000's of customers in their database.

The Solution
We designed the website to be fresh and clean, with a professional overtone. The use of contemporary and sylish photography added to its credability and promoted the overall theme and presentation of the Shed Restarants Menu offerings.

We also incorporated and email mailshot facility so that their databased of existing customers could be contact with the latest information regarding the restaurants.

The Invitation Book

Overview
The Invitation Book has grown from strength to strength over the years. Meeting the needs of a domestic market enabled us to show our cross market compatability.

The Requirement
The Big Fundraiser - Invitation Book has been using Fluid2 for the past 3 years to design, not only the book but also all the other elements that go with the whole campaign i.e. diners book, membership cards and an online virtual flipbook. Their needs have always been to create a publication that has substance and value, is appealing to the eye and has major shelf impact to familes looking to save money in various related geographical areas.

The latest edition 08-09 is out now and is availabe in most of the major cities on the UK.

The Solution
Each of the 6 front covers were designed with the focus on its relevant geographical area in mind. We did this by designing a series of vector based skylines that included key landmarks within the applicable city.

Below the skylines were a swoosh of images to overview the various offers availbe inside the publication. The back cover was broken down into four strips. One for dad, mum, son and daughter. Within each strip we included imagery for relevant activies that would apply to each age group.
